Firstly, Happy New Year to all at SEBE! Hope you enjoyed the Christmas vacation and managed to take a break from research/studying.
I wanted to share a free resource found in this month’s edition of the Internet Resources Newsletter (which is really worth subscribing to!).
The Visual Dictionary Online really caught my eye, particularly for visual learners. Taken from their about section:
The Visual Dictionary Online is an interactive dictionary with an innovative approach. From the image to the word and its definition, the Visual Dictionary Online is an all-in-one reference. Search the themes to quickly locate words, or find the meaning of a word by viewing the image it represents.
It has some great diagrams and definitions on there covering all subject areas. There’s an easy to use search box on the left hand side or you can browse the different themes on the homepage.
